How To Make Money Online With YouTube Comments

To make this method of earning money online work for you, you should probably already be doing something worthwhile. You can create a bot farm and start spamming YouTube comments with affiliate offers. I can’t say I recommend it, because unless you have some sort of system for capturing emails you aren’t creating wealth. I’m writing this article for those who want to make money honestly and expect to earn realistic results. If you want to make some easy money online, you should start commenting on YouTube videos. This should be done as a small part of your marketing strategy, but it should be done consistently. You can’t just do it for one day and stop. Or spam a bunch and get banned. You need to make comments that make sense. You should have a well-designed YouTube channel, and preferably some videos. You should have links to your offer in your bio and under your videos. It sounds basic and trite, but YouTube comments are probably the 3rd best traffic source one could ask for after Google and YouTube. Here’s why you should use them.

Commments get noticed by creators

Aba and Preach are famous for their “pin of shame”. This occurs when someone makes a dumb comment on one of their videos and happens once per video. It’s their way of making light of horrible or stupid things that are brought up in serious discussions. It’s a negative thing, but there is potential for positivity. If you can figure out the right comments to make you can get noticed by lots of random people.

Lots of people like comments, and will visit your profile after viewing your comments

YouTube is a social network. If people think that you’re cool, funny, or interesting, they’re going to interact with your comments and go to your profile. You should have your website and your videos as a part of your profile. Even if you have no videos, your channel should have a design and all the necessary links. When people click on your comments, it will feel like they’re being introduced to a person or business over the internet. A site full of content can make up for an empty YouTube channel, depending on the nature of the site.

YouTube videos get a lot of views

There are plenty of YouTube videos with a billion views. Imagine a billion people finding your YouTube channel for free and spending at least a second looking over your work. This could be done in theory, if you have a top comment on a video. There’s no other platform which has this opportunity. TikTok videos get a lot of views, but they disappear. It’s hard to get noticed by a ton of people on Facebook, although it’s great for selling items to individuals.

YouTube comments are timeless

YouTube videos stay up for as long as the uploader wants, and a lot of people who post are making good money off of YouTube. This means that your comments will stay up for as long as the original poster is making money. If you chose the right videos, this means that you can effectively count on your YouTube video being seen forever. The video essentially functions as a free billboard for your stuff, that lasts forever. Nifty. At least I think it is.

Instagram also works, but there’s less room for discussion

This is because most Instagram posts are short and to the point. You need to be highly engaging or shocking with Instagram comments if you want to get a lot of traffic, from the little that I’ve seen. That being said, people definitely do click on the profiles of people who make comments on Instagram posts. You should add your thoughts to that social network if you have any.

How much traffic can I expect to get?

It’s hard to say. Making YouTube comments isn’t very difficult, and it’s hard to tell how well a comment will perform. All that being said, if you socialize on YouTube, you will become somewhat known on YouTube. Add some videos, put your website in the bio, and watch the traffic roll in. It’ll take some effort, but the clicks you get will supplement the ones you get from Google and other forms of social media. If I had to guess, someone who comments a lot on YouTube videos can pull in an extra 1,000-10,000 views per month as a result of their comments. That’s based on results from my website. It’s all a matter of what kinds of comments are made and where.

My own experience

I started this blog one year ago, and so far, so good. It’s pretty clear that the traditional blogging formula does indeed work, and that you just need to put in the time and effort to stand out from the crowd. I expect that it’s going to continue to get harder to make money from blogs, but that the rewards will continue to be worthwhile for those who put in the work. I’ve gotten some traffic from YouTube. So far, I’ve gotten a lot more from search. Writing wise, I have my work cut out for me, so I’m focusing on that before I focus on YouTube. But the results have been VERY promising, given how few comments I make.

YouTube comments are one of the most underutilized forms of free traffic, outside of Google search. If you’re in the YouTube comments section, you’re probably getting a lot of free traffic to your channel without knowing it. Printing money is just about creating a lot of opportunities for yourself in the form of comments. As I said before, comments are timeless. You should make YouTube videos, but it’s a lot more difficult to make YouTube videos than it is to type a comment. If you have a thought when watching a YouTube video, you should express it. Not doing so is leaving money on the table.

Thanks for paying attention.
