The world is run by idiots. There are idiots in charge. There are idiots in academia. A lot of the people on this planet who have been given a voice, are quite stupid. People follow these idiots. They follow these idiots in good times, and also during moments of hardship. Good people follow idiots, and so do bad ones. Oftentimes, the people who control the world are running on confidence and insatiable desire for recignition. Understanding that these people make up the bulk of those in charge is actually the key to living a happy life.
There’s a difference between dumb and dumb
When I say the world is run by dumb people, I do not mean that it’s run by people who are retarded or mentally challenged. What the world being run by dumb people actually means, is that the world is not being run by the smartest people possible. These people are consciencious and charismatic, but they don’t necessarily know much beyond their little world. They may not make the optimal decisions. The choices they make don’t improve people’s lives. There are people who are far more intelligent than them who are floindering. For smart people, watching people like this in action is like torture. Accepting that the world is not being run by the best and brightest feels unfair. It can also lead to a superiority complex. This is a dangerous combination if someone is angry.
Dumb people can be clever
They set up systems which enrich them, and then hold them in place. Then, they become self congratulatory over keeping others down. This can drive smart people to insanity and bitterness if they’re not careful. The solution is to accept the game you’re playing and win. Smart people figure out how to win. Accepting that dumb people can be clever and achieve things is part of being truly intelligent.
Dumb people play status games
Dumb people generally only understand what they see, along with fame and glamour. They play status games because that is the scope of their vision. This is why flattery is a great strategy for interacting with others.
You will have to turn the other cheek
Dealing with dumb, status obsessed people can be hell. A lot of the time, its best to let them feel big. It doesn’t matter what the situation is. If you’re dealing with a status obsessed person, just agree.
Do your own thing
Following the crowd will lead to disaster in today’s age
Since the world is being run by dumb people, a lot of mainstream avdice being given out is dumb. If you follow the mainstream, the odds of you finding yourself in a fairly hellish situation aren’t low. The bulk of people don’t know what they’re talking about. Deduce your best options and come up with a plan for yourself. The more control you have over your own income, the farther away from stupidity you are. But even if you don’t become an entrepreneur, learning to follow the beat of your own drum is key to success, as far as I’m concerned.
Average people feel stuck
So don’t be angry with average people. The average person has a 100iq and is playing by the rules. Generally speaking, their lives are horrible. You want to do your best to avoid being an average person, but you can’t always fault them for their behavior. Understand that a lot of them will never really experience the best of what life has to offer. If you were born smart and rich, you need to thank God every single day. Don’t get angry with average people. Just thank God that you aren’t them.
Cut your grass
There are snakes in it. If you’re smart, people will hate you. This is especially true in locations that are poorer. The crab-in-bucket mentality can be deadly in these places. Understand that you have higher intelligence than most, and act accordingly. Don’t let someone who’s dumber than you destroy all your hard work. Which brings me to my next point.
Keep to yourself
It took me a while to learn this lesson. But a lot of the time, you want to keep to yourself. You don’t always need to make new friends, or be well known to those around you. Keep to yourself and avoid rocking the boat so you can avoid idiots and their power games.
Resilence and attrition rates matter more than IQ
I live in a country where it’s generally considered to be fairly hard to succeed. Minimum wage is quite low, and there are a lot of educated people with degrees who can’t seem to make it. That being said, it’s currently a great place to make progress on the global economic stage. Its fiscally well managed and new people keep coming every year. The main issue is that the locals aren’t willing to tolerate low wages and hard work. So they leave. Overall, this is the wrong choice. My country has a lot of problems, but there’s a lot of development going on, and the money you earn here can be used in other popular destinations. Most importantly, many people refuse to be here. This means I can hop social classes simply by working hard and being smarter than most, over a long period of time. Understanding that relience and consistency breeds the most success is the key to everything in life. You won’t up bitter and entitled, bragging to uninterested parties about your high IQ.
Treat countries like service providers
If you do this, you will find your country. Nationalism makes a ton of sense when you’ve found the country that does everything you need it to. If you treat countries like service providers, you basically get to benefit from the work of the most power-hungry worker bees in the world. You’re getting the best of the midwits and their hard work, rather than being duty-bound to the results of their destructice decisions. Embrace nationalism and the digital age by moving to the country that inspires you.
People have short memories
Understand this when you hear people complaining, explain things wrongly or telling lies. The average person has an incredibly short memory. People forget things after about 3 years, generally speaking. The only exception to this is if they feel wronged. Be a good listener, but don’t worry about what average people say. They have extremely short memories.
Create a life of peace, and let go of entitlement
Being super high IQ often makes people believe that they deserve to win and experience the best life. This isn’t true. Intelligence on its own is a gift. With intelligence, you have the opportunity to create a life of peace and serenity. Don’t focus on what the richest, most famous, and otherwise most successful people are doing in any individual realm. Instead, realize that the biggest blessing is a good life. Do your best to become a well rounded person overall, and live the best life possible.
Don’t take life seriously
If you’re smart you’ll realize that confidence, looks, and luck are major factors in people’s successes and failures. So why would you take life seriously? Don’t. Instead you should just have fun and try your best to succeed.
The saddest thing for a smart person is to live an unhappy life. But it happens all the time, because people are unable to accept reality. Accepting reality speeds everything in youe life up. When you find the truth, you find your authentic reaction. If you’re noticing that people around you are a bit dumber, you should make it your mission to get more out of life than they do. Cultivate your best life. Create beauty, value, and intelligence in a world of stupidity and craziness.
Thanks for paying attention.
