If you’re skilled at anything, you should make an attempt to max out your skills in that area before you do anything else. Focus on what you’re best at. Don’t try to improve too much, and don’t focus on your flaws. Go with what your best at, to the fullest extent.
Most industries are becoming winner take all
This is a simple fact of life. A lot of people are holding off having children and living their best lives in order to work. There’s just so mich money at stake. In many ways, the human race has never been more productive than it is today. But it also means a lot of industries are saturated. The winners take all the profit. If you’re not one of the winners, you’re objectively falling behind.
The economy, and therefore competition, are becoming more globalized
I predict that over the next few years, it’s going to get even easier to make money online. Like brain-dead easy. But. You’ll be competing with everyone. It’s either you out perform or you fall behind. Everyone on planet earth, including the very-motivated global poor will be fighting to take your spot. If you don’t focus on what you’re best at, you don’t stand a fighting chance.
More skills will become monetizeable
Right now, a lot of the improvements in standards of living come at the top. The global poor are getting wealthier, but we’re really multiplying pennies. I think this will change over thr next 10 years, and more average people will begin buying services online. People who have a good handle on online sources of income will benefit, as will those with random skills. If you focus on what you’re best at, you’re likely to get a lot of attention online.
We will get better at telling what is real
When that happens, peer to peer online communication will once-again become more pleasant. People will be more likely to buy frorm each other, and the digital economy will boom. If you have a random skill, the internet will become a very easy place to go for money. Those without random skills will suffer over the next half century. If you don’t have random skills, you had better be a pretty good communicator.
We will solve the problem of national debts
This might take decades, but it will happen. Globally speaking, capitalism is faltering. The global economy is reshifting and basically only a few industries are safe. Once people and governments figure this out for real, the problem will be solved. Sure, the USA can ramp up its nation debt, but there are limits. Even they can’t bend reality. The problem of national debts will be solved in the long run. This will mean that suddenly, governments will able to provide a lot of services. This means there will be more of a “safety net” allowing people to take risks. If you take a risk and try to productize what you’re best at, you’re in the money.
Connect your skillsets to the largest industries
Generally speaking, that’s healthcare and finance. If you can focus your skills in these realms for the sake of helping people, you shouldn’t ever be without money. Basically, help people get healthier and wealthier with your skills. You’ll make more money than if you blindly followed your passions.
Outwork everyone for exponential results
If you focus on what you’re best at and work hard, you’re going to make a lot more progress than someone who’s doing something that they suck at will. If you want great results, do what you’re best at to the fullest extent.
Focus what you’re best at. Don’t do anything else. Distracting yourself with your passions, random high value skills, and whatever other people want you to do just isn’t a great idea. If you do what you’re best at, you’ll go far. Take it from me. I’ve built quite the website, and I’m just getting started. If I hadn’t focused on applying my skills to the best of my ability, then I wouldn’t have been able to get any of this done. Trust me when I tell you to do what you’re best at.
Thanks for paying attention.
