Being a simp is a bad state of affairs. Neither men nor women respect you, all while you’re simply searching for approval and trying to find love and human connection. It’s really sad, because most simps are well-intentioned guys, oftentimes whose fathers weren’t there for them or didn’t teach them properly. But society doesn’t care, and the impact of simping will never be positive. For this reason, I decided to write an article designed to help people stop simping. It won’t help you or make your life better. If you can avoid simping you actually have a shot of going far in life and with women.
Realize that you’re simping
You might be thinking “duh” as you read that subheading, but you have to realize it. Simping is kind of insidious, in that it can feel as though you’re doing something good and correct by engaging in this activity. You aren’t. You’re only making your life harder and worse if you’re simping. It sucks, but that’s the way it is. Women don’t really want to be spoiled. It gives “would spend the family fortune” vibes.
Work hard and earn money, build a career
If you’re working hard and trying to build something of value, you’re unlikely to be simping. There just isn’t a way that simping is going to be fun when you’re trying to build something of value. You might have a bit of fun in the short run, but the long-term pain will get you to stop in no time. Get a degree, work, go through the motions. It’s worthwhile if you want to break yourself out of the simping mindset.
Pay down and pay off your debts
If you pay down your debts and pay them off, the odds that you simp will decrease dramatically. If you don’t have debts, simping will cause you to avoid taking on new debts. Paying down all of your debts will teach you the value of a dollar. Every time you think about simping, you realize what you’re giving up. Staying debt free is the best way to avoid simpery.
Set a net worth target
Money is the stuff of life. For better or for worse, the main skill game that you need to figure out is making money. If you set a net worth target and work hard to meet it, the odds that you do are incredibly high. Set a proper target so that you can make more money. Oftentimes, a good life is going to take a lot of work to achieve. You can’t just be an average person and hope to be in the top 5% wealthiest people in your country. You need to work to acheive financial freedom. There are no two ways around this.
If you have enough money, don’t be afraid to spend on your social life
But you need to have enough money. If you don’t have enough money, it’s not worthwhile. There’s nothing wrong with burning the candle on both ends in today’s world. But there has to be an end point. Don’t be afraid to go outside and talk to women and friends once you’re making money. If you can spend on your social
Force yourself to go and talk to women
You might end up simping again here, even if you’re not a rich kid. This is ok at first, but provided you have your financial goals in mind and are actually comfortable, you’re going to be fine if you do a bit of simping if you’re stable. This can take a bit longer in some places than in others.
Delay having kids (a bit)
You don’t want to delay having kids forever, but don’t just jump into it. You’ll regret it in the long run. If you can put in a lot of work between the ages of 26–29, you can be fairly well off. That still gives you a decent amount of time to meet someone and have kids. People are living really long nowadays. You have time if you put in the work. If you have kids too young, you’re going to likely end up in a situation where you’re spending a lot of money on kids and will need to dedicate more money to dating if you feel like doing more of it after you become a father. It’s not a good idea, at all.
Start a service-based business
The fastest way to make money is to start a service-based business. If you can start a business that sells a service that is stable and has a good reputation, you have a money printer. If you’re busy running something like that on the side, you’ll know the value of the dollar too much to be willing to simp. You’ll be dealing with clients.
Have a limit to how much money you need
This is really important. You don’t want to feel like you’re constantly on a treadmill. You want to be able to live a good life, but there has to be a limit to your extravagance. Too much time spend working on making a living is likely to lead to a lot of long-term regrets. I can already feel it from the year or so that I’ve spent blogging. It’s been worthwhile, but I don’t want to spend my whole life doing this. Me personally, I’m simply looking to break into the top 5% of my country’s asset holders. Maybe the top 1%. After that, I’m good. I don’t need to be “crazy” rich to be happy. Having a limit to how much money you’re willing to spend will prevent you from simping by putting you in a position where you never end up overspending.
Simping is a bit of a mental illness. It only makes your life harder, even though it can feel good in the short run. Change your mindset so you can avoid doing it. There’s nothing to be gained from simping, and the life that you can live without doing it is fantastic. There’s absolutely no value in being or becoming a simp. Fight the urge at all costs. Just find something else to do. You can do it. It’s extremely worthwhile. The alternative is a life of being made fun of and getting turned down. Make the right choice.
Thanks for paying attention.
