Liberalism and Leftism Destroy Lives

Liberalism and leftism are really bad. People understate how bad they are as philosophies. I lived through the rise and fall of popular American leftism. I was a child when Obama was elected in 2008, and an adult somewhere around the time Donald Trump was sworn in in 2017. I’ve seen how the world has changed since conservatism has become popular and also seen the negative aspects of the far left in my daily life. I’ve come to the conclusion that the right thing to do is be conservative. But it’s easier to be a leftist, especially if you’re a goody-two-shoes.

Leftism is unfocused and idealistic

People on the left focus on the world as it should be, not as how it actually is. This is fine during times when resources are abundant. But it doesn’t fly when times are hard. How do I know this? Conservatives are tribalistic, and humans revert to tribalism when times get hard. At our origin, we were all in tribes. Leftism is what happens when people have too much freedom to think. People revert to conservatism when their backs are against the wall.

Leftism destroys truth in search of fairness

Perhaps this is an intentional feature of lots of leftist thinkers. But whether they’re trying to or not, leftists create confusion in search of understanding. This is because leftists care about perspective. Outside of gender and dating issues, perspective doesn’t matter one bit. Everything besides dating can be explained with mathematics.

Destruction of the family unit

A lot of leftists are anti family without even knowing it. You have to be a conservative to live around them and see it. They preach about viewing the world from a global perspective and caring about others, but they neglect what’s directly around them. This is absolutely atrocious for family creation and propagation. Most leftists are terrible parents. Only take advice from a leftist parent if they’re over the age of 65 or so. Leftism back then was modern day centrism.

Conservatism is a more logical problem-solving methodology

Conservatists focus on what’s closest to them and build outward. The family unit is the most important aspect of life, followed by the town and religious community, and so on and so forth. When you think in a more self-centered manner, exerting change on the world around you is more possible and plausible. True conservatists get stuff done. Leftists get mired in policy and confusion.

Leftism leads to the degradation of the micro community

I’ve never seen this not happen. Conservatives are charitable and focused on helping those around them. Leftists are focus on ideals and entitlements. One type of community is peaceful, happy, and consistently improving. The other tends to be crazy and mismanaged.

Conservatism isn’t about being racist or sexist

This is the fallacy that a lot of people on the left seem to fall into. There’s nothing about being community oriented and protective that says you have to be a mean person. Conservatives tend to generalize more, but it comes from a place of wanting to come up with workable solutions in a complicated world. Hatred and conservatism are different, although they can overlap in a world that’s fraught with tension.

Leftism uses guilt to convince you of bad ideas

The easiest example of this is with income taxes. Most leftists want to raise income taxes so that they can give people more stuff and make life easier. Never mind the fact that most leftists live life in countries where things are already incredibly easy, they don’t take into account globalization and global productivity levels. Most of the countries in which raising income taxes is a talking point have very high wages and prices. People in poor countries are far more competitive as workers. If you understand these two things, you realize that very few countries have enough leverage to raise income taxes very high. It might work in the short term, but people will jump ship more and more as the world becomes wealthier. Leftists will preach about caring for people, and how there “should” be enough to go around.

Intelligence without conscientiousness leads to logical fallacies

This can also be seen in the argument around income taxes. People will point to countries like Denmark and Belgium and Germany as examples of countries with high income taxes. What they neglect to mention, is that a lot of these countries have had GDP flat line for the last two decades. They’re well managed, but they aren’t creating any new wealth. For now, they’re more than fine. But they’ll find themselves falling behind in the long run. Accepting a degree of stagnation in exchange for living in Germany might make sense. But it doesn’t mean high income taxes are a good move. The constant across these countries (with the exception of Belgium) is a low national debt.

The changing of definitions is a leftist tactic, rebranding bad policy as conservative is an easy trick

Not everything the Republican party does is actually conservative in nature. A lot of it is actually socialism that benefits the wealthy. I’m not well versed enough in American politics to give a specific example, but be careful about confusing rebrands. Real conservative countries are community oriented, value hard work over handouts, homogeneity over diversity, and focus on creating collective value. Everything else is nonsense.

All the new good places to live are incorporating conservative economics

Whether it’s Texas, Thailand, Colombia. Nowhere in the world is society improving without cutting debt. All the places where debt is being ramped up are becoming unlivable. People are suffering from more and more mental illness, and mental illness seems to be the only affliction that we can’t solve. Meanwhile, people who are living in economically conservative places are seeing improved quality of life provided they put in the work.

Denmark, Switzerland, and perhaps South Korea are good examples of conservative societies that run properly

Forget which political party is in power. The countries I’ve just named are all examples of real economic growth, and highly skilled financial engineers. Conservative economics have caused each of these three countries to experience rapid economic growth, and become exceptionally prosperous, although South Korea is lagging behind a little.

Idealism leads to negativity and nihilism

If you’re idealistic, you’re not practical. If you’re not practical, your actions won’t have good results. Seeing your hard work end up being in vain is incredibly difficult. If you’re not psychologically strong, you will become a nihilist. This is why men in conservative regions of the world tend to be happier people overall. They make small changes to their lives and see the results of their hard work every day.

Wealthier countries become more liberal, but only when actually wealthy

This usually means, ironically, that they are conservative. Swedish people spend time thinking about gender issues because they can actually afford to. Denmark is forcing women to serve in the military. Both of these countries have no minimum wage, freedom to unionize, strong immigration policy, and low debt to GDP ratios. They managed their countries so well that they can spend time talking about this stuff. Gender stuff is important, but in my country it’s nonsense because we have much bigger problems. My prediction: of the ultra-wealthy countries, the most conservative ones will continue to be the ones which create the most abundance.

Leftists don’t create more tolerant societies

They think they do, but they don’t. Leftists create societies where entitled people are exposed to lots of economic shocks and scarcity. This makes them more hateful than they otherwise would be. Leftists unintentionally manufacture racism this way and then create more backlash by drawing attention to minority groups. This same process is happening with gay and trans people too. Homophobia has definitely made a comeback in no small part due to those on the left.

The government has an interest in protecting leftists

This is how they maintain power. It’s not an intentional system. But government workers are likely to believe in their own work. So, they create technocracies as they get wealthy. Those technocracies eventually get outcompeted by leaner systems, but not after doing a bunch of damage to everyone’s life. If a society has gotten too decadent and is in a leftist spiral, you will see leftist idiots get rewarded fast. When society is full of hard workers, conservatism is rightfully and intelligently embraced. Leftists are roughly beaten back because while everyone deserves basic respect, their ideas are crazy and dangerous.

Focus on your life, and changing your location before voting

That’s the conservative way of thinking. Change yourself before you try too hard to change the world around you. Generally speaking, you’re going to find that places that are poorer than average, but with low debt-to-gdp ratios are the easiest to grow in. If I was around the age of 18, that’s what I would be looking for. In terms of actual countries, I like: Brazil, Barbados, Grenada, St. Vincent, St Lucia, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic. Life is improving at a steady pace in these places, and the economic growth is sustainable. There are lots of other places to be, but these are the best in my opinion.

Countries are just service providers

What does this country have? What can it offer you? This is really all that matters when you’re picking a place to live nowadays. As fertility rates get lower and more and more people find themselves lost behind a screen, nationalism and loyalty make less and less sense. Before long, countries will literally be seen in the same manner as internet service providers. Don’t get too wrapped up in politics. It doesn’t make sense and you’ll waste your life.

Leftism at the extreme is communism, and China isn’t doing as well as you would think

Check China’s debt to GDP ratios. There’s a reason they make so much technology. China is one economic crash away from being as poor as a country like Colombia. Turns out central planning doesn’t work that well, even with good technology.

Leftism is a waste of time, and the people who engage in it usually have some sort of privilege, whether earned or not. When too many leftists become too out of touch, society gets wonky and possibly collapses. Right now, the internet and AI are the innovations of the day. This means that the world order is shifting, and absolutely nobody has time for stupid leftist politics outside of a few wealthy enclaves. Avoid these enclaves, and adopt a conservative mindset. You’ll see a lot more progress toward the life of your dreams.

Thanks for paying attention.
