I’ve done wayyyyyy too much research on the Passport Bros, and have watched far too much of their content. Who can blame me though? I’m a young bilingual guy who wants to be a location independent entrepreneur. Why wouldn’t I want to know where the most beautiful women on the planet are? Back when I first started seeing passport bros content, it was more good natured. Random black guys showing up to places like Portugal, Russia, Germany, and Brazil saying… “Hey! There’s some hot girls here.” Now, things have gotten crazy. TikTok has popularized men going on sleazy hookup trips, hiring escorts, and sometimes even getting what basically amounts to a mail order bride. It’s gotten quite sad, and as someone who grew up as a “world citizen”, I couldn’t understand why this had happened.
Then came Auston Holleman.
I hate to say this idiot’s name, because all this guy does is do things backwards and complain about life. He has the personality of a psycho and he really shouldn’t be making dating the center of his lifestyle content, even if he’s making money. But there was a snippet of content that he posted that was really interesting. I can’t find a video which allows the snippet to exist on its own, but if you search up “Auston Holleman mom” on Google, you should be able to find some people on YouTube who are covering the incident.
Auston was on a Livestream, and his mother came out of his room cursing him out. That unfortunately reminded me of the past, although it was portrayed in an extreme way. My mom is nice, and she certainly doesn’t swear at me as a grown man in my 20s, but my home life wasn’t always great. I was a depressed youngster, and seeing the lifestyles of successful professionals in America didn’t give me a ton of hope for the future. I also dealt with a lot of violence and bullshit that I can comfortably say wasn’t my fault when I was younger. Thinking about “home” just doesn’t make me happy. It makes me quite miserable, as a matter of fact.
From their words and behavior, passport bros appear to be about as traumatized as me…but just about women. Or maybe they’re redirecting their other trauma towards women.
This, for obvious reasons, is a total nonstarter if you’re dating overseas. People don’t want to date people who “couldn’t make it” back home. Women especially prefer the familiar. This is why people who marry outside of their race are usually better educated than the norm.
Have you ever noticed how so many passport bro channels spend time shitting on Canadian, American, or British women? Notice how they never seem to go anywhere? Notice how many of them seem proud to take women out to expensive dates that they know are far beyond the norm? That’s because these guys are traumatized and need validation and sex more than they need human connection.
In my experience, women overseas are often better looking than in the United States. If you like white women and live in Canada, I don’t think you have anything to complain about though. I haven’t been to the UK, but I would be shocked if I didn’t have the same reaction.
The people who spend a bunch of time shitting on random women for petty things are giving unemployed loser vibes. Just say you had a bad time, didn’t enjoy your culture or didn’t feel like you belonged, and move on. The bravado and hatred seen on TikTok doesn’t inspire people to want to travel overseas. This is a shame, because the women overseas are often actually super hot and nice. If you’re going overseas be self-aware. I personally won’t be spending all my time making money when I’m abroad because I want to improve other aspects of my life. I could push this blog to over 1,000 articles, but it doesn’t seem worth it. $30,000USD per year before taxes is more than enough to suit my needs. Making $120,000 in a place like Vietnam might allow me to “rescue” someone from extreme poverty, but that’s a shameful way to live life. If you wait too long to go overseas, or if you don’t spend time cultivating your personal life when you get there, the odds aren’t low that the latter might be you.
