Why Moving To (The Right) Poor Country Gives You An Advantage In Today’s World

In today’s world, moving to the right poor country will give you a massive advantage. It might not seem like this. Rich countries have good jobs, benefits, employment insurance. And most people are living in nice houses. There are a ton of advantages to living in a rich country. It might sound crazy when I say you should live in a poor country. Poor countries are hard to live in, and there’s no money, right? Well, kind of. Poor countries are incredibly hard to live in, but the way things work around the world nowadays, you might find yourself at an advantage moving to and living in a poorer country. This might sound weird, but that’s what I did. At first, I thought I had messed up. But turns out, I picked the right poor country to move to. Things are better than average here, and they’re improving fast. I think in a globalized economy, moving to a poor country actually puts me in a good position with regards to creating a good life for myself and becoming successful. Moving to a poor country has forced me to face economic realities at a young age, and work hard for what I have. Now, I’m in the process of creating a real, long-lasting business. This is possible for you too if you put in the work. Here’s why you should move to an emerging market.

You will work harder than most people

The average workweek around the world is about 44 hours long. This is a long time. Right now, in order to produce a lot more than the average person, you need to do more than 70 hours of work per week. This means that right now, those who aren’t working hard are falling behind. A lot of poor countries have long workweeks right now. People can’t afford to live on 35 hours per week. Moving to a poor country while young will teach you work ethic, because without work ethic you’ll be far too out of place in your new country. Everybody else is working, and the government isn’t coming to save anyone. You look crazy lounging around. Moving to a poor country while young is one of the best and fastest ways to develop a work ethic.

You will not be able to start stupid online businesses

One of the most deceptive forms of bad luck, in my opinion, is becoming TikTok famous. Being a viral sensation is probably not something I would wish on my worst enemy. It doesn’t work long term, especially as the internet becomes increasingly flooded with content and things to look at. Your earnings continue to decrease as entertainment sinks to the lowest common denominator. In order to make a solid living online, you’re likely going to need to start a type of company, and put years into building it. This means generating a lot of content pieces, and creating the largest type of system possible. For people in America, this often means experimenting with crypto and AI. For people in poor countries, it’s all about the basics: blogging and YouTube. Obviously, both have risks. Running a blog requires you to spend a couple years of your life creating content. It’s not clear whether or not it will work for

You will have an easier time living on and scaling your online business

Building your online business is always a tricky endeavor. It takes a lot of time to learn the ropes, and income tends to arrive all at once. You need to be willing to work hard without seeing results for a very long time. This means putting your head down and creating a crapload of content, most of the time. If you can do this, you will be able to make hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars within a short span of time. It’s all about creating the right kind of content, and making sure your content is surer to succeed. Having the right content is the key to winning online nowadays.

If you start with online business and accept being poor for a bit, you will have a competitive advantage over locals

While they’re working (and not saving anything), you’re learning the skills required to build the perfect side hustle. The one that can match a full-time employment income. This is invaluable, because it means that you can survive pretty much any which way and will likely end up becoming quite wealthy. It will be easier to outcompete people and eventually build a network around what you have going on. People who are succeeding will want to be around you if you’re winning. The way you win is by doing the hard work and building a real business. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to teach other people what to do or find ways to create value for new customers.

You will have a professional advantage as a foreigner

As long as you’re working hard. Being a foreigner can suck in a lot of ways. If you’re in a poor country, you’re probably going to have to work really really hard so that you can avoid poverty. If you are able to do that, you’re going to be wayyyyyyy ahead of the game, and a lot of people will be impressed. Additionally, you will know more stuff, and likely will be able to survive anywhere. Both of these factors will give you a massive professional advantage.

The right poor country will always be improving

The best poor countries are always improving. Life in the developed world isn’t. The longer you can last in the developed world while staying productive, the better. But if you can’t be productive, go to a poor country and work your tail off. You’ll find that things grow, and soon the poor country you were once in, soon won’t be poor. Just make sure not to choose a country with a ton of discrimination.

All you have to do is copy businesses from wealthy countries

In my case, it’s blogs. Writing still pays a decent chunk of change, if you stay consistent and create good content. So I figured I would create my own writing company. So far, it’s been quite rough. I’ve had to learn a lot about business methodologies. But now, I’m confident that I can build a business that places me in the top 1-3% of asset holders in my country. If trends continue, I could end up being a millionaire in my 40s. There could be a shock to the world of writing. But if there is, a new opportunity is sure to pop up. For now I’ll stick to writing. If you’re moving to a poor country, find a business from the 1970s, 80s, or 90s USA depending on how poor your country of choice is. The poorer the country is the farther back you should go. Do some research on the applicable rules and regulations to see if the business can be copied. Then go ahead and apply the same skills as everyone else. You’ll soon find yourself soaring past the competion, and making more money than you could have imaginedd.

You will realize how poor a lot of the world is

And if you’re anyone who’s anyone, that will cause you to start working. The poverty around the world is pretty unbearable if you have a conscience. A big part of how you make it stop is doing the work required to be somebody of value in the society which you live. So basically, moving to a poor country will light a fire under your ass.

You can be around your own ethnic group

I don’t want to come across as racist. But right now is still a weird time to be going to different countries and trying to integrate. Things are improving, but they aren’t perfect yet. Your life will get easier if you hang out around your own ethnic group. Especially your social life. People trust those who look like them more. It’s just how the world works.

Better dating options

If you live in the west, you’re probably not meeting the right women, unless they’re pretty young or highly educated. The pendulum is starting to swing back in the right direction, but things used to be pretty crazy in the west when it came to women’s expectations. Relative to the rest of the world, women in the west do actually have pretty high expectations still. For most people, living overseas is a lot better and easier when it comes to dating.

Moving to a poor country can seem scary, but it’s very possible to succeed if you do the right work and make the right connections. The world is becoming wealthier and wealthier as time goes on. Generally speaking, life is supposed to become easier. If it’s not, you’re doing something wrong. Moving to a poor country can help make life become easier over time. You’re almost guaranteed to do the work required to make sense of things. When you do, you’ll find yourself better off and more at ease than the average American, that much is for sure. You just need to be realistic about your spending, and put in the elbow grease required to succeed.

Thanks for paying attention.
