Why You Shouldn’t Become a Passport Bro

There are a lot of benefits to living overseas, and there are lots of channels on YouTube that discuss those benefits. I personally have spoken a decent bit about passport bros. That’s because in a way, I think being one makes sense. America is expensive, and the culture is quite toxic, when it comes to both politics and dating. You can definitely live a better life overseas, and when it comes to dating, attract prettier women than you otherwise would. That being said not, everyone should be a passport bro. To be honest, most people shouldn’t be passport bros. It’s a drastic solution to one of life’s problems, and it takes a certain personality type to pull off effectively. I’ll discuss that in a different article, but here are some sure-fire signs that you shouldn’t be looking to move overseas.

You’re not open enough to new cultures/You’re too Americanized

If you want to live like an American, you should live in America. That means if you want to own guns, be around diversity, and have the social freedoms to engage in nonsense, among other things. If you want to earn more than $400,000 per year, you should live in America. Very high-paying jobs are uniquely American. There are lots of aspects of American life that are difficult to let go of for many people. That’s ok. Just don’t move overseas to start a family if you aren’t ready to adapt to a foreign culture. Life is going to be really hard for you.

You just want to buy sex

Paying for sex is a cop-out, first of all. It’s not good to do, and it gets worse the poorer the country is and the wealthier you are. You may or may not have seen videos of people buying sex in places like Colombia and the Dominican Republic. This is crazy, because sex often costs as little as $15 in these countries. That’s less than an hour’s wages in America. If this is your main dating strategy, then I’m giving you the side-eye.

The ethics of paying for sex are questionable, but if you want to do it, you should just fly overseas every once in a while. But honestly, there’s no need to be paying for sex if you’re in America. The lack of prostitution in the United States is counterbalanced by a very high quality of life. You don’t need to spend as much time making money as if you lived in a poor country, if your goal is just to have a good dating life. American women have money too. Just make sure you’re living comfortably and make them like you. Focus on the quality time you spend with women instead of trying to impress them with money, careers, clothes, or status. This will probably cause you to focus on your hobbies and becoming a well-rounded person. If you’re struggling after that, you’ll probably be motivated to move. But to honest, Nevada is a state if you’re really desperate. No point in moving overseas just to pay for sex.

You don’t want to do the work

A lot of people just want to live overseas. They don’t really want to do remote work and God knows they don’t have the work ethic to start an online business. The truth of the matter is, that while dating outside of the USA might be easier, nothing worth having comes easy. Setting up a life in which you can earn $40,000 per year in Brazil (for example) is fairly difficult. That country isn’t wealthy at all. You’ll need a good business, or a skilled remote job.

Having more money than everyone else isn’t enough either. If you want to move overseas, you’re going to need to work on your social skills. America is kind of anti-social. It’s a very car-centric countries and a lot of people use social media all the time. If you want to date overseas you’ve got to be ready to actually work on yourself. Get in shape, build a career, be sociable. It’s the same as anywhere. You’re just moving overseas so you don’t have to waste your life making money, worrying about healthcare, and focusing on toxic politics. It’s not a cheat code to attract unlimited women.

You hate women, not your culture

Something I learned from spending time in passport bro forums and social media spaces is that a lot of men simply hate women. They’re bitter because they feel rejected. They feel rejected because they’re short, because they’re [insert ethnic group], or because they earn an average income, most of the time. As such, they try to geomaxxx in order to attract… different versions of the people they hate.

If you hate women, the best thing to do is spend some time away from them (in non-professional and non-platonic settings) and educate yourself about women in a realistic way. This doesn’t mean watching American feminists rant about how men are trash on TikTok. It means learning about the world. If you’re heartbroken or angry, being a passport bro just won’t work. At best you’ll get fleeced. It’s the same as in the set of paragraphs above: you have to do the work on yourself.

Overall, being a passport bro is the move. In most countries, you can live a great, stress-free life for $25,000 per year. It won’t be a super lavish life, but you’ll be able to have a nice apartment, car, and live in a major city. It only goes uphill from there. When finances are that simple, you have the opportunity to follow your passion, and dating becomes exponentially easier. But all of this doesn’t mean that it’s some magical life-hack to live like Dan Bilzerian. You have to be realistic about the kind of person you are and make a decision about whether you’re going to move based on your personality.

Thanks for paying attention.
