What Is An Addictive Personality and How Can It Help Me Succeed?

You may or may not have heard the term “addictive personality” in the past. People usually use the term when talking about how they eat too much, or can’t stop playing video games. Having an addictive personality is often seen as a bad thing, or something that we can use as an excuse for our mistakes and failings. “I have an addictive personality, so I struggle to limit my fast food intake.” Sometimes people are telling the truth. Other times, they’re just looking for a scapegoat.

Having an addictive personality can feel like hell sometimes. You always want to do something else, and that “something else” is never productive. But what if you could channel that addictive personality into something productive?

It’s very possible to make your addictive personality work for you. As a matter of fact, it’s quite easy. Having grown up around a lot of successful people, I think a lot of them had addictive personalities. This is because I also knew their children. It isn’t always the case, but the children of wealthy and successful people often have issues. This indicates to me that wealthy people are workaholics.

Being a workaholic is a blessing and a curse. You get a lot of stuff done, but your home and family life will likely suffer. Kids and spouses are real, living beings. They need attention and love, which workaholics often fail to give. From what I can tell, the parents of many people I’ve known were workaholics. This is bad in the long run, but workaholism can be leveraged in the short term in order to help you win.

How do I channel my addictive personality into success?

If you want money, things are pretty simple. All you have to do is make work your addiction. If you make work your addiction for 5 or 10 years, you’ll have a great shot at winning. You just need to focus on creating wealth before generating income. Even if all you’re doing is packing groceries-you can get addicted to saving your paychecks. I’ve been focusing on wealth by learning how to create recurring sources of revenue through writing. I’ve got a pretty good handle on this skill, and I will be monetizing by creating products and providing services. I think.

I’ve been honing my craft for nearly 4 years, and now it’s all coming together. I didn’t date much. I didn’t party much. I just sat on my computer learning. I worked, I smoked, I was angry, I was mean. But I got a lot done. A huge amount, as a matter of fact. Now? I just need to keep running this race. A few more articles will put me solidly in the global middle class. Even more writing, and I’ll be pretty rich, especially considering my age and nationality.

So basically, it’s easy to be a workaholic depending on your personality. You just need to be obsessed with reaching your goal, and to love your work. I like writing because you don’t have to talk to anyone. You just sit and work hard. Enjoy substances that don’t impair you too much, if you need to. Make work and your future your all consuming purpose, and you’ll Leapfrog ahead of people in the realm of money and finances.

If you’re looking for a balanced life, that’s a bit more tricky. The thing about living a balanced life is that you need to be a well rounded person. In many ways I’m not yet well rounded. I’ve spent the last few years of my life learning how to write, and do it well enough to get search traffic. I’ve gotten pretty good at it, and I expect to be able to live in Europe within the next two and a half years should I want to. I’m creating my wealth through passive income, so I expect to be able to take my foot off of the gas in a couple of years. The first order of business will be to get healthy. I’ve spent far too much time being sedentary, and need to get healthy again. The second order of business will be to find some hobbies. This will allow me to make friends and meet women. The third order of business will be to do community service. Community service is another social activity, and it will keep me tethered to the community in which I live. This is my view of a balanced life, but it may be different for you.

Building a fully balanced life with an addictive personality is tough, but it’s definitely something that can be done if you build a solid financial foundation first. Human happiness tends to increase as you make more money. This means that you may find yourself becoming less of an addict as you get wealthier. But you definitely can leverage your addictive personality into wealth. Just become addicted to your work, and turn each task that has been accomplished into something that you reward yourself for. It’s possible to win if you have faith in yourself.

Thanks for paying attention.
